
Well this is going to be a short blog tonight, just a brief update. I have a slight disappointment in the plans for the upcoming race (Wicked 10) -- I hurt my foot/ankle yesterday. At my visit with an orthopedic specialist I learned that I will not be running for 6-8 weeks. I have a bi-lateral foot/ankle sprain. So, for tonight that is all I can and will say. I'll be home for the next few days keeping my foot elevated and iced.
So, I may fit in some blogging time. I have a few blogs in mind; a book review of a running book I just finished, my thoughts about running with music, some history on Black women runners, and now some info on foot injuries and how to have a healthy come back.
