So with less then 7 weeks left until the Shamrock 8K, are you still looking for motivation?
What drives you to get your weekly mileage done, to add on an extra cross training, to do your core exercises every morning, or to do a day of speed work? If setting a PR (personal record) is your goal then you most likely are in full swing with the training plan. But for many of us it has been a challenge to find that perfect motivating factor, you know the one that wakes you up in the morning and whispers in your ear "I can't forget to pack my gym shoes, 'cause I gotta get my workout done today" with so much enthusiasm. Are still looking for that voice? Well how about this for motivation.
Spring is right around the corner, you know the season of light fabrics, flowing dresses and blouses, where we begin to shorten our skirts and let our legs breath for the first time in months. The season of beautiful pastel colors and as it creeps into summer we begin to bare our arms and legs with tank tops and shorts. Let's not forget the bathing suites and halter dresses. Ok, ok you can see where I'm going with this... let's get our bodies right so we can enjoy the spring and summer knowing we are in shape and looking good.
What better reward than health and the perfect summer dress!!!
